RESUME
The Retomada series comprises sculptures and installations in unglazed, hand-made porcelain.
The works allude to the reoccupation of the urban and the resumption of the landscape by nature, which adapts to the city's interventions and sprouts, often with difficulty, wherever it is convenient, restoring its place. The series' main question is about how we are shaping the cities of the future and how to make society aware of the need to establish a harmonious relationship between urban space and the ecosystem.
In the works, the limit of the work is exceeded, making it part of the exhibition space. In the same way that nature instinctively finds ways, with the purpose of reintegration, the work becomes integrated with the space where it inhabits.
